Manager, Software Engineering (Salesforce)

Job Summary
The Manager, Software Engineering (Salesforce) will lead a team of Salesforce developers and administrators to advance AssistRx’s Salesforce ecosystem. Responsibilities include driving architectural decisions, overseeing code reviews, managing deployments, and championing Agile delivery. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, extensive Salesforce development experience, team leadership, strong Agile understanding, and excellent stakeholder management skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 7+ years of Salesforce development experience, including Apex, LWC, and integrations.
- 3+ years leading Salesforce engineering teams (onshore/offshore preferred).
- Proven experience with CI/CD tools (Gearset, Copado, or similar).
- Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, data models, and metadata management.
- Experience in large, multi-org Salesforce environments.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and delivery metrics.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer II, Application Architect, or System Architect) highly preferred.
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical, healthcare, or patient services environments.
- Experience managing third-party vendors and technology partners.
- Knowledge of Salesforce Territory Management, custom metadata, and Platform Events.
