Job Summary
Lead software engineering teams (onshore/offshore/contractors/interns) to deliver scalable, secure, AI-enabled software solutions; drive end-to-end software delivery, modern SDLC practices, and DevOps adoption; champion Generative AI adoption and AI governance; partner with product, architecture, data, and business stakeholders to define technology strategy and roadmaps; hire, develop, and retain top engineering talent; manage budgets and vendor partnerships; ensure security, compliance, and delivery excellence; mentor engineers in core software engineering and AI-assisted development; oversee multiple initiatives and drive innovation across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including modern cloud-native development
- 3+ years of people leadership experience managing high-performing engineering teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (advanced degree preferred)
- Demonstrated experience leading AI/ML or data-driven initiatives (GenAI exposure strongly preferred)
- Proven ability to lead distributed/global teams and drive outcomes across complex organizations
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern architectures (microservices, event-driven, APIs)
- Proficiency in modern programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript)
- Deep understanding of data platforms, including data modeling, pipelines, and real-time processing
- AI / GenAI & Data Fluency: Generative AI concepts (LLMs, embeddings, prompt engineering, RAG, fine-tuning) and experience integrating AI capabilities into products/workflows
- Experience with Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and test automation (TDD/BDD)
- Familiarity with observability, reliability engineering, and performance optimization
- Leadership experience in resource planning, budgeting, and delivery management
- Ability to drive organizational change and technology adoption, especially in AI and automation
- Excellent communication skills with ability to influence senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
