Job Summary
Relativity is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing software engineering team, mentoring talent, guiding architecture decisions, and accelerating AI-driven and data-driven development. You will drive API-first, service-oriented systems with scalable designs, leverage modern data platforms (e.g., MongoDB), and integrate AI capabilities into the software development lifecycle. The role involves hands-on technical contribution when needed, aligning resources with Scrum priorities, and representing engineering leadership in career development and strategic planning. Remote work is supported within Poland.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role
- Proven ability to hire, lead, and grow high-performing engineering teams
- Strong hands-on experience with software development and programming (e.g., Java, Python, or similar)
- Experience designing and building API-based / microservices architectures
- Practical experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) and modern data platforms
- Solid understanding of data-driven development, including data modeling, ingestion, and processing pipelines
- Experience integrating AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude, Cursor) and AI-powered APIs into development workflows and products
- Experience with SaaS or enterprise-scale distributed systems
- Strong understanding of system design, scalability, and reliability principles (SLOs, observability)
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
