Job Summary
Lead and manage software engineering teams to deliver cloud-based, distributed systems that support NetJets’ mission-critical owner experience. Responsibilities include hiring and mentoring engineers, coaching teams for regular delivery, driving Agile practices with TDD and CI/CD, ensuring testing and automation across pipelines, managing vendor relationships, and maintaining technology hygiene and reliability for owned applications. Collaborate across functions on “one-team” initiatives, define technical direction, and advocate for scalable, high-performance solutions while supporting 24x7 operations and delivery roadmaps.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- 8-10 years of experience in software engineering with leadership experience in similar roles at mid to large enterprises
- Exceptional verbal and written articulation skills for cross-geography communication
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and project management skills
- Experience leading teams to deliver complex software in cloud/distributed systems environments
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- 8-10 years of software engineering leadership experience in mid to large enterprises
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Experience with cloud-based architectures, CI/CD, TDD, and testing automation
