Job Summary
Define roadmaps, manage backlogs, and prioritize features for the internal developer platform based on engineer needs and business objectives. Secure code, CI/CD pipelines, and unit testing while driving operational efficiency through smart telemetry and blameless root-cause analysis. Design "golden paths" that standardize development and deployment, fostering self-service environments. Collaborate with PMs and technical leaders to clarify requirements and execute cross-team initiatives in an agile, DevOps-focused setting. Lead recruitment, training, and development of top-tier talent in the region, coaching mentees and participating in second-layer support rotations.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of professional work experience in software development
- BS/MS in Computer Science, or equivalent education/experience in a relevant field
- Hands-on experience coding in programming languages such as Golang, Java, Javascript or Python
- Hands-on experience driving the software architecture and design of large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using service-oriented architecture, object-oriented design, and RESTful API endpoints
- 6+ years of people management experience
- 5+ years of experience with tools such as Jenkins, ArgoCD, Temporal, Terraform, and Kubernetes
- Solid background in application and system programming, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Linux system administration
- Deep understanding of the security, reliability, performance, and cost-effectiveness of distributed systems on public cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud (GCP)
- Must be able to verify identity and eligibility to work and to complete employment eligibility verification
- Must pass an export compliance assessment as a condition of employment in any global location
