Job Summary
Lead a dedicated engineering team delivering on a multi-track roadmap for a product area, owning planning, scheduling, and execution across complex, large-scale projects. Manage budgets, resources, and recruitment to build and scale high-performing teams while defining, delegating, and tracking project-level work with visibility to senior management. Collaborate with product managers on technical feasibility and drive process improvements in software development and cross-team collaboration. Ensure delivery quality, scalability, and alignment with business requirements and customer needs through mentoring and coaching.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of experience with prior leadership responsibilities
- Strong technical foundation in programming paradigms, concepts, and at least one programming language
- Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, processes, and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
- Track record of successful delivery both as an individual contributor and as a leader
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to convey big-picture goals, align teams, and manage client/stakeholder relationships
- Skilled at prioritization, conflict resolution, and making trade-offs in dynamic, fast-paced environments
- Proficient with tools such as JIRA and Confluence
- Must be able to lift, push, pull and/or move up to 15 pounds
- Must regularly sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree preferred
- Previousexperience with Go/Golang and AWS preferred
