Job Summary
You will be the first engineering manager for the Growth Platform at Figma, defining the platform’s direction and delivering incremental value each sprint. Lead the initial Growth Platform team, hire engineers, set culture and standards, and mentor for career growth. Build capabilities that enable growth experiments through features like personalized messaging, self-service publishing, and cross-system integrations, while leveraging AI for quality checks, copy generation, and governance. Provide hands-on technical leadership in architecture decisions and build-vs-integrate choices, and partner with Marketing, product, and design to align on cross-channel messaging and platform needs. Shape the platform roadmap based on adoption and impact, and scale the team as scope expands. This full-time role can be held from a US hub or remotely within the United States, with a salary range of $258,000–$376,000 USD and additional compensation and benefits described by the company.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years in engineering management
- 7+ years of software engineering experience at the application or product tier
- Experience driving impact and enabling growth at scale
- Ability to operate in ambiguous environments and deliver continuous value
- Track record of prioritizing by impact and leveraging existing assets
- Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, product, design, and data
