Job Summary
Lead a team of software engineers in designing, building, and maintaining large-scale distributed web applications using Java, Spring, AWS, and microservices architectures. Drive the development of RESTful APIs and JSON services while enforcing security best practices and test-driven development methodologies within a Scrum and DevOps environment. Mentor junior developers, coach on agile application lifecycles, and manage project delivery to align with business goals. This role operates in an open office environment and requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and adaptability skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent years'experience
- Minimum of 4 years' professional experience in Java development
- Experience working in OS X and Linux environments
- Spring
- AWS
- Microservices
- SQL
- NoSQL
- GIT
- Experience working in a scrum and DevOps environment
- Good understanding of agile application development lifecycle
- Understanding of various design patterns and OOP paradigm
- Experience in RESTful and security of API design
- Knowledge in at least 1 OOP language
