Job Summary
Lead and coach a core team of engineers building large-scale, agent-centric development infrastructure to deliver delightful experiences for thousands of developers. Participate with senior management in developing long-term technology roadmaps and drive operational excellence by defining performance goals, metrics, and real-time issue detection tooling. Provide technical leadership to initiate, plan, and execute critical, cross-functional programs while engaging the industry-wide developer community through open-source contributions. Work in a hybrid environment in Bellevue, WA, within a data-driven organization focused on transforming the developer lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent related experience
- 1+ year(s) of management experience or 1+ year(s) of staff level engineering experience with management training
- 5+ years industry experience in software design, development, and algorithm related solutions
- 3+ years experience in large-scale system design and software development
- Experience programming in object-oriented and/or functional programming languages (like Java/Python/C/C++/Scala/etc.)
Desired Qualifications
- MS or PhD in Computer Science or related technical discipline
- 2+ years of hands-on software engineering/technical management and people management experience
- 1+ years experience leading developer productivity and quality automation efforts
- 5+ years programming experience in languages such as Java, C++, Python, Go, Rust, C# and/or Functional languages such as Scala or other relevant coding languages
- Experience in architecting, building, and running large-scale distributed systems
- Experience in the design and development of performant, highly available, scalable web applications
- Successful track record of managing teams of engineers to deliver multiple projects on time and with quality
- Active involvement in the creation and execution of technical strategies and roadmaps
