Job Summary
SMT Process Engineering Manager in Hsinchu, Taiwan, leading a local SMT Engineers team to support NPI and mass production SMT process development and issue resolution. Responsibilities include characterizing and validating SMT processes, managing quality control and implementing strict quality management practices, guiding the SMT Engineers to achieve outstanding outcomes, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve critical issues, supporting NPI and ensuring seamless transition to mass production, and communicating progress to Operations Management in Santa Clara, CA. Drive process improvements to maintain world-class standards and lead a team in a high-tech, fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or comparable experience
- Minimum of 8 years in engineering roles with at least 2 years in a leadership position
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems and practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills with track record of resolving critical issues
- Effective communication for reporting and team collaboration
