Job Summary
Manager, SMB Sales to lead a remote team of Account Executives, driving revenue and implementing repeatable sales processes. Responsible for coaching and developing AEs, hiring and training new reps, overseeing pipeline management, forecasting, KPI oversight, and cross-team collaboration to align strategy and customer success. The role requires building a high-performance team culture, enabling sales growth, and acting as a brand ambassador for Square/Block while working with leadership on strategy and execution.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3+ years of sales management experience leading quota-carrying Account Executives or full-cycle sellers
- 3 years of documented sales success as an individual contributor exceeding target
- Experience in hiring, training and ramping new Account Executives
- Proven track record in collaborating across different teams with the ability to inspire change
- Leadership and coaching experience and a desire to help others be their best
- Expertise in creating structure around sales metrics and managing yourself and others to achieve these metrics
- An understanding of how to refine decision-making and consider downstream and upstream effects of potential decisions
