Job Summary
Oversee analytical development and management of small-molecule programs in a laboratory setting. Lead and mentor a team of scientists, provide technical guidance on method development using multiple instrumentation and detectors (HPLC/GC/UPLC/ICP-MS/LC/MS/GC/MS and UV/FL/CAD/ELSD/IC), ensure GMP/GLP compliance and quality systems, coordinate with clients on project timelines and budgets, prepare reports and SOPs, and drive continuous process improvements. Manage staff performance, resource allocation, and project delivery while fostering collaboration across functions to meet client needs and organizational goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
- 2+ years of management responsibility
- 5-8 years of experience or equivalent
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Experience with analytical technologies (HPLC, GC, UPLC, ICP-MS, LC/MS, GC/MS) and detection methods (UV, FL, CAD, ELSD, IC)
- Knowledge of GMP/GLP and quality systems
- Leadership and mentorship skills
- Ability to manage projects, budgets, and client interactions
- Ability to develop proposals/plans and review laboratory investigations
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
