Job Summary
Lead and manage supply chain execution for the assigned region, ensuring purchase demand for Direct and Indirect scopes is delivered on time with the correct balance of quality, delivery, and cost. Directly oversee a team of Procurement Specialists to transact Procure-to-Pay activities, maintain up-to-date ERP systems, and develop inputs for Annual Operating Plans and strategic sourcing. Identify supply base rationalization opportunities, elevate supplier risks, and negotiate claims while ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Operate in alignment with Flowserve Management System and policies, driving cost reduction and supplier on-time delivery targets.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Supply Chain
- Certified Supply Chain Professional
- Geographically mobile for development opportunities
- Strong understanding on the sourcing needs of the regional / global sites
- Knowledge of ERP Systems such as SAP, Oracle and/or Great Plains
Desired Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal relationship management
- Evidenced understanding of both commercial and technical areas of supply chain
- Very strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in Project Management
- Knowledge of supply base within the BU area of operation (products/markets etc)
- Understanding of market dynamics
- Strong analytical skills which involves collecting, analyzing and interpreting data
- Ability to influence, communicate, and collaborate at all organizational levels
- Strong leadership, collaboration and communication skills
