Job Summary
Steer the Site's Procurement unit by operationally managing the local supplier base, purchased volumes, and costs while conducting negotiations for high-strategic local deals. Implement regional and global procurement strategies to ensure best conditions and highest value, supporting innovation and localization projects through the Procurement Project Leader role. Define and lead the Site procurement organization, including staffing, employee development, and target setting aligned with business requirements. Manage the cost center and budget planning in alignment with Controlling, ensuring compliance with global policies and consistent reporting of performance. Lead indirect procurement activities by establishing spend visibility, driving supplier consolidation, and reducing maverick spend to improve PO compliance.
Required Qualifications
- University degree
- 8 years of professional experience
- 5+ years' experience of working in strategic and operational procurement with cross-functional experience in a related functional area
- Advanced experience of engineering, manufacturing and Supply Chain capabilities in a similar technical field
- Advanced level as required for supplier relationship management
- Strong English skills, both written and verbal
- Experience with and comfort working at a multi-cultural, multi-discipline organization level as required for supplier relationship management
- Knowledge of ERP
- Experienced practitioner of advanced procurement tools and techniques
