Job Summary
Manage the Resident Site Engineering Manager and team to oversee maintenance programs, processes, and documentation for automated storage and retrieval systems and storage and picking systems. Lead daily activities, including supervising maintenance, training, and performance appraisals, while ensuring strict adherence to SOPs, safety policies, and health and safety considerations. Direct work against timeframes for reactive repairs, manage site budgets, and liaise with the Customer's Operations Shift Managers and suppliers to resolve resourcing issues and escalate problems per agreed procedures. Produce monthly reports covering commercial and technical activities and champion internal review meetings to optimize resource utilization and service levels.
Required Qualifications
- Authorization to work in Canada
- Passport or ability to obtain passport
- Work on weekends and/or overtime as required
- Professional office etiquette is required at all times
- Occasional travel required
- Physical requirements may include: sitting, squatting, walking, reaching out to arm's length, reaching over-head, lifting between 50-100 pounds, and reading
- Strict adherence to KNAPP's drug-free workplace policy
- Expected to remain drug-free during employment
- No exception if recreational or medical use of marijuana is permitted in the location of employment or residence
- No exception if use of marijuana is only during off-hours
