Job Summary
Lead on-site installation of logistics systems (conveyors, sortation, AS/RS) and oversee commissioning and handover of automated solutions. Manage a team of Site Installation Supervisors and subcontractors to deliver projects safely, on schedule, and within budget while maintaining quality standards. Coordinate with project managers, engineering teams, subcontractors, and clients; monitor installation schedules, resources, and progress; ensure adherence to HSE regulations; supervise site activities, conduct inspections, manage materials and logistics; oversee system testing, commissioning, and final acceptance; maintain installation documentation and handover records; support continuous improvement and lessons learned. Requires strong leadership, project coordination, problem-solving, and the ability to read technical drawings. Willingness to travel up to 30% (domestic and international). Preferred certifications include OSHA 30 and CPR.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent experience) preferred
- 5–10+ years of experience in industrial installation, preferably in logistics or automation systems
- Proven experience managing on-site teams and subcontractors
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical installation processes
- Familiarity with warehouse automation technologies (e.g., conveyors, robotics, AS/RS)
- Knowledge of commissioning and system integration processes
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations
- Experience with large-scale automation projects
- Must be able to obtain customer site security access
- OSHA 30 Certification (preferred)
- CPR Certification (preferred)
