Job Summary

Direct all phases of assigned location program objectives from inception through completion, managing site-specific technical statements of work and overall site operations. Oversee daily activities including employee timesheets, performance evaluations, property control, facility, safety, security, and production while directing technical, manufacturing, and administrative staff. Provide leadership, guidance, and career development to all site employees, ensuring adherence to Northrop Grumman and TS Human Resources policies and maintaining close coordination with the OPM. This mid-level leadership role within the Bacchus Value Stream Operations Team at our Bacchus Facility in Magna, Utah, focuses on meeting safety, quality, delivery, employee development, and cost objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 7 years' experience manufacturing
  • Master's Degree
  • 5 years' experience in manufacturing
  • 3 - 6 years managing in a manufacturing or related environment
  • ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance
  • Excellent interpersonal/leadership skills
  • demonstrated ability to work with and satisfy internal and external customers and suppliers
  • demonstrated commitment to customer service
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Presentation skills
  • ability to clearly communicate initiatives plans and expectations
  • Computer skills to include Word, Excel, Power Point, Pilgrim
  • U.S. Citizenship

  • Demonstrated experience managing a diverse work force including exempt, non-exempt, and Union represented hourly personnel
  • Experience with a Represent Work Force (Union) and the limitations and requirements related to USW contract
  • Experience in quality systems and quality management (AS9100/ISO9001)
  • Demonstrated a strong safety and working culture, with All Hands Meetings and consistent floor presence
