Job Summary
Manage and continuously improve the Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning process to align customer demand with operational capabilities. Coordinate the monthly planning cycle, facilitate demand and supply reviews, and maintain planning assumptions and reporting tools. Develop supply plans based on manufacturing capacity and material constraints while monitoring utilization to identify bottlenecks. Monitor inventory levels against targets, identify excess or slow-moving risks, and recommend corrective actions. Partner with Sales, Operations, and Engineering teams to resolve supply constraints and support new product introductions. Communicate planning risks and opportunities to leadership to drive data-driven decision-making and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in supply chain planning, production planning, inventory management, scheduling, or SIOP-related functions
- Experience supporting demand planning, supply planning, capacity planning, or inventory optimization processes
- Working knowledge of manufacturing operations and supply chain processes
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and planning tools
- Strong understanding of SIOP, demand planning, supply planning, and inventory management principles
- Ability to analyze data and identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Effective project management and organizational skills
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of supply chain metrics, forecasting techniques, and planning processes
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative mindset with strong relationship-building skills
- Work requires periodic stooping/bending and frequent walking/standing throughout the day
- Requires occasional lifting of objects less than 25 pounds as well as occasional lifting of objects 25 to 50 pounds
- Work involves activities that require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts, machines, or vehicles
- Requires use of personal protective equipment
Desired Qualifications
- APICS Certification preferred
- Manufacturing industry experience preferred
