Job Summary
Collaborate with Director of Category Management, buyers, and sales to develop best-in-class category development strategies based on qualitative and quantitative analysis; build insights from internal and external data (syndicated data, shopper insights, market research) to drive growth and market share for Costco and Mondelez; develop actionable recommendations to optimize category performance, including trends, assortment, promotion efficiencies, price elasticity, and shopper behavior; build joint business plans, create reporting dashboards, and serve as the category thought-leader for customers and internal teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- 3 to 5 years of experience in the CPG industry in category management or related fields
- Strong analytical and presentation skills
- Experience with data analysis and cross-functional collaboration
- Ability to travel less than 15%
- Experience with market data sources and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
