Job Summary
Manage all aspects of the receiving department by receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, performing accurate piece counts, and date-stamping boxes. Process paperwork, maintain records, and ensure proper documentation for returns and shortages while adhering to S.O.P. and GT audit compliance. Organize the backroom, assemble pre-packs, and execute planogram adjustments to maximize sales and customer satisfaction. Complete cycle counts, track shipments, verify receipts, and manage inventory adjustments to ensure system accuracy. Handle product transfers, price-tag incoming goods, and support floor operations as needed. Requires a high school education, 1-3 years of retail or receiving experience, and the ability to lift 20-25 lbs continuously. Flex schedule includes weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of relevant retail sales experience
- 1-3 years of previous experience in receiving
- Strong organizational and record keeping skills
- An ability to lift repetitively
- Must be able to lift, bend and carry objects on a continuous basis
- Must be able to lift 20-25lbs
- Must be able to use necessary equipment
- Must be self-motivated
- Must be able to work independently
- Must wear safety shoes
- Must be available for weekends and evenings
- Must be available for varied shifts
- Must be available for holidays
