Job Summary
Manage daily settlement processing for domestic and cross-border funds transfers within the Americas time zone, ensuring proper procedures are followed and cutoffs are met. Lead an operational team responsible for generating customer advisements, fund transfer orders, and completing customer onboarding while acting as the escalation point for resolving settlement issues. Provide direct support and backup coverage for key functions, manage resource schedules for shift rotations, and lead initiatives including new customer implementations, testing, and piloting. Review reconciliation reports, identify process gaps, and develop training programs to improve operational efficiency and staff competency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Management Information Systems
- Knowledge of the card payments industry or banking back office payment operations gained through 3 to 5 years of experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, treasury operations, and the payment operations industry
- Experience managing daily global settlement operations processes for services and input sources for both internal and external customers
- Proven ability to analyze problems and offer solutions
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively with cross-functional partners
- Must be self-motivated and a good team player
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills
- MBA a plus, but not required
