Job Summary
Lead and oversee a team of Portfolio Consultants, providing guidance, coaching, and support to maximize team performance. Strategically plan and allocate resources to optimize capacity and ensure achievement of Key Performance Indicators. Communicate investment philosophy and available investment strategies clearly to Wealth Advisor Teams and end clients across all Portfolio Consultants. Lead presentations on various investment topics and resolve bottlenecks by analyzing team reporting and managing day-to-day workflow. Take ownership of managing standardized workflows and investment processes, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and efficiency. Handle trade corrections and implement processes to reduce trade errors. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, driving process enhancements and operational efficiencies. Develop and implement project management methodologies and best practices to build on the team's skills and abilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Series 65
- Minimum 4-10 years preferred of related experience in financial services
- Experience leading and managing a team of direct reports
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
- Strong problem-solving experience and skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal and highly collaborative approach
- Organized and detail oriented
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
- Excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills
- Must have the ability to work both independently as well as within a team on multiple time-sensitive projects with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Travel: Estimate 5% - 10% travel
- Working knowledge of Orion and Morningstar preferred
- Must be able to lift 10 lbs or less
Desired Qualifications
- CFP, CFA or advanced degree a plus
