Job Summary
Lead integration of generation resources through the full project lifecycle, from interconnection request submission through commercial operation. Oversee submittal of interconnection requests, coordinate with transmission owners and consultants on studies, and manage monthly study/security deposit balances. Drive timelines and technical work across a wide range of projects, including generator modeling and resource energization milestones. Provide expert guidance on market rules and represent the company in RTO/ISO working groups and regulatory proceedings. Support due diligence for new project opportunities and identify risks affecting project schedules and commercial viability. Begin as soon as possible, preferably in Q3 2026, based in Boulder, CO on a hybrid schedule.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
- 7+ years of experience
- Power System Analysis software proficiency, i.e., PSSE, Powerworld, TARA, PSCAD, TSAT
- Self-motivator with exceptional communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills with the desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment to meet deadlines and complete time-sensitive duties
- Google Earth, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint proficiency
- Based in our Boulder, CO office on a hybrid schedule, or remote arrangements for the right candidate
Desired Qualifications
- power systems, transmission planning or generation interconnection experience preferred
- Prior ISO/RTO experience preferred
- PE license preferred
