Job Summary
Role overview: Manager/Senior Manager of Business Development for Payor Partnerships within DaVita’s Value-Based Care business. The role is externally focused, supporting national and regional payor accounts, and champions DaVita’s IKC value-based care models. Core responsibilities include driving IKC growth and partnerships, deepening payor relationships, refining external value propositions through collateral, and leading strategic analytics and deal structuring. The position requires independently structuring analytics for business cases, delivering persuasive presentations to internal and external stakeholders, onboarding teammates, leveraging CRM to track milestones, and mentoring analysts. The ideal candidate will pitch VBC models to health plans, convert national pipelines, represent DaVita at industry events, and translate complex clinical/financial concepts into compelling partnership opportunities. Minimum qualifications include 5+ years in fast-paced deal-oriented environments, executive-level presentation and negotiation skills, and a Bachelor’s degree with MBA/advanced degree preferred; strong ownership mindset and cross-functional collaboration ability are valued.
Required Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in healthcare strategy, business development, or consulting
- Executive presence and experience presenting to Director+ level payor executives
- Strong communication and presentation skills (PowerPoint/Excel)
- MBA or advanced degree preferred
