Job Summary
Leading the Building Products Research, Data, and Insights team as Manager/Senior Manager, overseeing the development of data-driven products and rigorous economic and market analyses. Responsibilities include directing advanced analyses (forecasting, industry modeling, segmentation), guiding team members, mentoring researchers, interfacing with forecasting, data science, consulting, and product teams, ensuring methodological rigor across data sources, delivering high-quality analyses and visualizations for clients and executive audiences, and supporting business development through expert insights and industry engagement. Must be proficient in R/Python/SQL (and SAS as applicable), with strong leadership, project management, and communication skills, and a track record of turning complex data into actionable business insights.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, or a related field required; advanced degree strongly preferred.
- 5–7+ years of professional experience in building products, housing/real estate, economic research, survey research, or related analytical fields.
- Demonstrated experience managing analytical teams and leading complex research initiatives.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as R and/or Python, SQL, or SAS, along with advanced Excel skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.
