Job Summary
Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for Family & Children's Services' security program across Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Norman, and surrounding counties. Develop standardized policies, conduct site assessments, and manage staffing, training, and performance for internal personnel and contracted vendors. Lead incident response efforts, investigations, and emergency preparedness while fostering a culture that balances therapeutic engagement with effective security practices. Direct security supervisors, coordinate with HR, clinical operations, and local law enforcement, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and workplace violence prevention protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in related field
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Criminal Justice, Security Management, or Business Administration
- Proven experience in security management, with a minimum of 7 years in a leadership role
- In-depth knowledge of security principles, practices, technologies, and regulations
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to effectively supervise and motivate a team
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- High emotional intelligence with the ability to build trust-based relationships across diverse populations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Keen attention to detail
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity
- Proficiency in security-related software and tools, including camera systems, access control systems, and incident management platforms
- Flexibility to work non-standard hours and respond to emergencies as needed
- Valid Driver License and satisfactory driving record
- Proof of automobile insurance
- CLEET Phase 1 and 2 Certification
