Job Summary
Manager, Security & Event based in Kuala Lumpur leads liaison between the company, tenants, VIP guests, and service providers to plan and execute high-profile events and hospitality activities. Oversees frontline/concierge teams to deliver polished guest experiences, coordinates with security, housekeeping, and maintenance for readiness and safety, manages event logistics and vendor interactions, supports marketing/communications in campaigns and tenant events, handles guest feedback and VIP complaints, maintains relationships with government bodies and corporate partners for approvals, and prepares post-event reports for continuous improvement. Requires Bachelor’s in Hospitality/Event Management/Public Relations and 8–10 years in hospitality/event management, with strong interpersonal skills, ability to manage large-scale events, attention to detail, CRM/event management familiarity, and flexibility to work weekends/extended hours.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Public Relations, or related discipline
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in hospitality, customer relations, or event management, preferably in luxury retail, hotels, or mixed-use developments
