Job Summary
Oversee secondary market operational activities related to loan sales, commitments, investor delivery, and portfolio management while leading a team to execute processes and meet performance expectations. Coordinate with investors, internal partners, and service providers to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant loan delivery, and monitor pipeline and portfolio activity to address operational issues balancing timelines, quality, and risk. Ensure policies, procedures, and controls supporting secondary market operations are followed and maintained, and resolve escalated operational issues through root-cause analysis to reduce errors, delays, or financial exposure. Track market conditions, investor program changes, and industry developments to support informed operational decisions, and provide reporting, insights, and updates on operational performance, risks, and trends to leadership.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in secondary mortgage market operations, capital markets, or a related financial operations environment
- Experience leading a diverse team including hiring, coaching and performance management
- Working knowledge of loan sales, investor delivery processes, and secondary market operational controls
- Strong organizational, problem‐solving, and decision‐making skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external investors
- Strong communication skills and comfort operating in a fast‐paced, deadline‐driven environment
- Bachelor's degree in field relevant to role (or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree)
