Job Summary
Lead a team of Screening Solutions Specialists by traveling 75% of the time to observe, train, and coach personnel while promoting Abbott Cancer Diagnostics products to physicians and integrated delivery networks. Manage assigned area sales targets, forecast quarterly and annual goals, and ensure strict compliance with Quality, Regulatory, and Company policies. Establish communication mechanisms, collect customer insights and market trends, and leverage technical expertise to present clinical benefits that meet or exceed customer expectations. Recruit for new personnel, manage open territories, and provide performance management including feedback and training opportunities. Maintain regular attendance and work a standard schedule, including nights and weekends as needed, while acting with integrity and an inclusion mindset to energize teams toward future objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Reside in Wisconsin
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or field as outlined in the essential duties
- 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing sales role in a medical, healthcare, or technical field
- 1+ year of experience in a leadership capacity, such as, serving in a training role, completing a stretch assignment within Exact, serving as a new hire mentor, or active participation in a champion role
- Possession of a valid driver's license; no suspended, revoked, surrendered, invalid, etc. allowed
- No more than two moving violations, events, or accidents within the last 36 months
- No alcohol or drug event in which a vehicle was driven by the candidate or employee, including but not limited to Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) failure, refusal to submit to alcohol or drug test, alcohol related suspension, etc. in the last 36 months
- No other results from the Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) check that exposes Abbott Cancer Diagnostics to what we deems to be an unacceptable level of liability
- Ability to meet any requirements set by healthcare facilities for access to those facilities (e.g. vaccination requirements, mask requirements, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Ability to work nights and/or weekends, as needed
- Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 60% of a typical working day
- Ability to travel 60% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel
- Willingness to relocate
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or field as outlined in the essential duties
- Experience selling and/or leading a sales team in primary care physician office or OB/GYN practice settings
- Experience in a sales leadership role
