Job Summary
Lead and manage the SBA Post Close function, overseeing post-closing operations for SBA loans, staff, and documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance with SBA SOPs and regulatory requirements, and audit readiness. Responsibilities include supervising SBA Post Close Specialists, performing final reviews of loan files, managing tickler systems, coordinating lien filings and title transfers, ensuring collateral perfection, maintaining secure handling of sensitive documents, and driving process improvements. The role emphasizes leadership, staff development, cross-training, and performance management, with a remote-friendly work arrangement and a salary range of approximately $106,391–$127,669 per year.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in finance, business administration, or related field required or equivalent work experience
- 7+ years of experience with SBA or related area
- 3+ years of supervisory experience
- Advanced knowledge of SBA processing documentation/operations and leadership, products and services; related state and federal laws and regulations, and other Credit union operational policies and procedures
- Excellent organizational and time management skills – ability to work with minimal supervision
- Intermediate skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation; mainframe computer system; word processing, spreadsheet and specialty software programs
- Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to carry out instructions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy
