Job Summary
Lead Sales and Business Development for the Pneumatics portfolio in India; drive revenue growth, develop pricing strategies, expand market presence, and lead application-based solution selling across key industrial verticals. Responsibilities include driving order intake, revenue and margin growth, building and accelerating a sales pipeline, managing key accounts across Power, O&G, Chemical, and M&M industries, developing channel strategies with distributors and partners, leading RFQ/RFP responses and negotiations, and collaborating with R&D/product teams to develop industry-specific pneumatic solutions. Requires strong technical understanding of pneumatic systems (valves, actuators, FRLs) and proven expertise in price strategy, margin management, and contract negotiations. 10-12+ years in industrial sales/business development and a bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Instrumentation / Industrial Engineering (MBA preferred). Minimum travel within India as needed; strong presentation and stakeholder-management skills expected.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Instrumentation / Industrial Engineering (MBA preferred)
- 10-12+ years of experience in industrial sales/business development
- Proven experience in pneumatics, automation, or fluid control
- Strong exposure to pricing strategies, application engineering, and solution selling
- Experience with RFQ/RFP responses, technical presentations, and contract negotiations
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills
