Job Summary
Individual contributor role based in Lisbon, Portugal, responsible for identifying and developing business opportunities across an assigned client portfolio, driving joint growth across issuing and acquiring to increase credential issuance, expand card acceptance, and accelerate volume growth; support broader money movement solutions and value-added services by engaging with the payments ecosystem. Responsibilities include offering Visa solutions, providing proactive product/service support, analyzing market data, developing pitching decks and business cases, fostering strong client relationships, driving sales growth within the portfolio, and contributing to business development for digital players (Fintech, Enablers, Bin Sponsors, Processors, Digital Payfacs, Visa Direct Programs, Wallets). Implement digital agendas (Tokenization, Click to Pay, Authentication, Risk, Tap-to-Phone, among others), onboard clients effectively, and align with joint objectives under established agreements. Qualifications emphasize a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), relevant experience, and fluency in Portuguese and English; 3+ days in office are expected as per Hiring Manager guidance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics or engineering (preferred, but not required)
- Minimum of 4 years of experience (preferred, but not required: business / strategy consulting, banking, investment banking or payments)
- Fluency in Portuguese and English (additional languages are a plus)
- Strong communication, presentation, and storytelling skills
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills
- Solid business planning and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
