Job Summary
Responsible for overall performance and development of the territory sales team, including achieving margin and market share objectives while ensuring the team has product and market knowledge and sales skills. Designs and implements sales strategies based on market potential and trends; establishes territories, goals, and quotas; drives new business development and marketing strategies; maintains top-level relationships with existing and potential customers; expands partnering relationships with suppliers. Emphasizes collaborative problem solving, professional development, and growth opportunities within BFS’s leading building materials distribution platform.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 8 - 10 years of sales experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Directly related experience selling to professional builders is strongly preferred
