Job Summary
Lead and oversee comprehensive safety and security programs in aviation-related environments, directing safety program leadership, audits, regulatory compliance, incident prevention, and emergency preparedness; manage security operations including access control, cameras, and badge processes; align with FAA SMS/FAA compliance, collaborate with IT, airport authorities, and HR to foster a proactive safety culture, and develop scalable training and data-driven reporting across locations. Requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 8+ years of experience in safety/security roles; professional certifications are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Security Management, Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in workplace safety, security operations, or EHS roles
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, ATF, FAA, DOT, and relevant aviation safety standards
- Experience managing safety audits, emergency preparedness, and security technologies
- Professional certifications (e.g., ASP, CSP, CHSP, Certified Security Professional) preferred but not required
