Manager RN - Operating Room, Full-Time, Day Shift

Conduct daily rounds with physicians and staff to coordinate patient care, while scheduling, leading, and coordinating unit activities on assigned shifts. Supervise and direct nursing and ancillary personnel by recruiting skilled staff, completing periodic evaluations, and coaching or disciplining as needed. Establish standards of care, monitor critical processes through data audits, and resolve operational or patient care issues independently. Manage unit staffing by assessing personnel requirements, authorizing overtime, and completing monthly schedules to prevent short staffing. Facilitate throughput via early discharge and bed management, ensure equipment safety, and lead emergency preparedness reviews. Maintain a highly visible presence to optimize functional independence and achieve high patient satisfaction.
