Manager RN - Operating Room, Full-Time, Day Shift

Conduct daily rounds with physicians and staff to coordinate patient care, while directing and monitoring nursing activities to ensure quality and safety. Build a high-performing team by recruiting, coaching, and evaluating personnel, then complete monthly scheduling and manage overtime requests to prevent staffing imbalances. Set standards of care, monitor critical processes through data analysis, and facilitate throughput via early discharge and bed management. Investigate operational issues, coordinate team conferences for revised care plans, and ensure equipment maintenance and emergency preparedness. Maintain a highly visible presence to optimize functional independence for patients and drive unit goals.
