Manager RN - Operating Room, Full-Time, Day Shift

Conduct daily rounds with physicians and staff to coordinate patient care, while scheduling and leading unit activities on assigned shifts. Direct personnel in patient care activities, authorize overtime, and complete monthly staff schedules to manage staffing needs. Build high-performing teams by recruiting staff, coaching individuals, and conducting periodic evaluations. Set goals for patient safety and quality, monitor critical processes through audits and incident reports, and investigate operational issues. Collaborate with charge nurses, physicians, and department leaders to ensure efficient clinical operations and high satisfaction. Manage early discharge and bed turnover to facilitate throughput while maintaining safe, operational equipment.
