Manager RN - Operating Room, Full-Time, Day Shift

Job Summary
Conduct daily rounds with physicians and staff to coordinate patient care, while directing personnel to ensure adequate care and quality. Build a high-performing clinical team by recruiting, retaining staff, and completing periodic evaluations. Establish standards of care, monitor critical processes through data audits, and investigate operational issues to improve patient and family satisfaction. Schedule unit activities, manage overtime, and forecast admissions to facilitate throughput and prevent staffing shortfalls. Maintain equipment safety and conduct emergency preparedness reviews. Collaborate with leadership to achieve organizational goals and create a culture of open communication.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree
- Five years' technical experience
- One year's leadership experience
- Two years' experience of acute care nursing in hospital setting
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- National specialty certification in area of expertise or in nursing administration
