Manager RN - Operating Room, Full-Time, Day Shift

Conduct daily rounds with physicians and staff to coordinate patient care and resolve operational issues. Direct and monitor nursing personnel to ensure adequate care, while assessing unit staffing needs and authorizing overtime. Schedule unit staff, manage monthly schedules, and complete periodic personnel evaluations. Build a high-performing clinical team by recruiting staff, coaching, and developing action plans for quality improvement. Set standards of care, monitor critical processes through data audits, and prevent complications including nosocomial infections. Facilitate throughput through early discharge and timely admissions.
