Job Summary
Manage activities, workflow, and nursing resources for the 7 South and 7 North Medical Surgical Units. Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements. Conduct hiring, training, directing, development, and evaluation of staff. Identify and resolve issues affecting patient care delivery while developing policies to guarantee efficient service. Monitor and adhere to the budget, approving expenditures and purchases to ensure compliance. Maintain constant alertness and safe operational standards. Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
- Two years' registered nurse experience, with demonstrated progressive leadership responsibility OR one year of registered nurse experience plus one year of leadership experience
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Missouri Division of Professional Registration
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Registered Nurse (RN) Issued by Compact State
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Oklahoma Board of Nursing (OBN)
