Manager, RN - Labor and Delivery

Manager RN - Labor and Delivery overseeing a labor/delivery unit. Builds and leads a high-performing clinical team, coordinating daily unit activities with staff, charge nurses, physicians, and department leaders to ensure safe, efficient, and patient-centered care. Conducts daily rounds with physicians and health-team members, supervises nursing and ancillary personnel, recruits and retains skilled staff, schedules and coordinates unit activities, and guides performance improvement to achieve patient safety, quality of care, and regulatory compliance. Develops action plans, evaluates personnel performance, and coordinates education in collaboration with the clinical educator. Emphasizes open communication, workforce planning, throughput optimization, and timely care planning for optimal patient outcomes.
