Manager, RN - Full Time - Day Shift - Outpatient Surgery

Conduct daily rounds with physicians and staff to coordinate patient care, while supervising and directing nursing personnel to ensure safe, complication-free outcomes. Schedule unit activities, manage overtime, and complete monthly staffing schedules to optimize throughput and prevent short staffing. Build a high-performing team by recruiting staff, coaching individuals, and completing periodic evaluations. Monitor critical processes through audits and incident reports to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and establish standards of care. Investigate and resolve operational issues, coordinate team conferences to revise care plans, and conduct emergency preparedness reviews. Maintain a highly visible presence on the unit to foster open communication and drive quality improvement initiatives.
