Job Summary
Lead the daily operations of the outpatient surgery unit by scheduling staff, conducting physician rounds, and coordinating patient care plans. Direct nursing and ancillary personnel to ensure safe, complication-free care while managing overtime, staffing levels, and monthly scheduling. Build a high-performing team through recruitment, coaching, and performance evaluations, and drive initiatives to improve patient satisfaction and operational efficiency. Monitor critical processes through data audits and incident reports to maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree
- Five years' technical experience
- One year's leadership experience
- Two years' experience of acute care nursing in hospital setting
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- National specialty certification in area of expertise or in nursing administration
