Job Summary
Lead the Collections Team to optimize Accounts Receivable performance, drive collections strategy, and foster process improvements that maximize cash flow. Supervise and mentor staff while managing workflows to ensure target attainment, overseeing high-level reporting on collection performance and team productivity. Act as the primary contact for complex disputes and lead cross-functional collaboration with sales and billing departments to ensure strict adherence to credit and collections policies. Requires 7+ years of overall experience with 5+ years in AR collections and prior managerial experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
- 7+ years overall experience
- 5+ years relevant experience in AR Collections
- Prior Team Lead or Managerial experience in a similar function
- Advanced knowledge of ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills for collecting overdue debt
- Excellent written and verbal communication for professional stakeholder interaction
- High attention to detail for accurate ledger maintenance and reconciliation
