Job Summary
Leading the analytical infrastructure for Merit America's revenue decisions as a data-forward, AI-first Manager, Revenue Operations. Own the AI-enabled revenue forecast model, integrate pipeline, capacity, and enrollment data, and deliver executive projections and strategic materials. Maintain Salesforce CRM governance and data integrity, serve as the operational link between operations and finance, monitor compliance across revenue sources, and partner with Learner Financing and finance teams to unify financing data with revenue health. Drive cross-functional coordination, dashboarding, and proactive risk management to enable data-driven decision-making for donors, paid partners, and internal stakeholders. This remote US role emphasizes building scalable analytics in a nonprofit/edtech context with a focus on forecasting, pricing/packaging analysis, governance, and executive storytelling.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in revenue operations, financial analysis, business intelligence, or a closely related analytical field
- Proven track record of leading end-to-end forecasting model design; independently build, stress-test, and communicate multi-scenario revenue projections to senior and executive audiences
- CRM experience—Salesforce strongly preferred—with a track record of enforcing data governance standards across a team
- Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including complex model architecture, and demonstrated AI proficiency (using tools like Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) to accelerate analysis and automate reporting
- Clear, precise written and verbal communication; able to translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders
- Track record of cross-functional collaboration across program, finance, or partnerships teams and maintaining coordination with minimal formal authority
- Ability to manage multiple analytical workstreams in a fast-paced, evolving nonprofit/edtech context
- Experience in nonprofit, edtech, or workforce development organizations (nice to have)
- Experience supporting pricing or product development decisions (nice to have)
- Experience interpreting compliance or reporting requirements related to partner contracts or grants (nice to have)
- Exposure to data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, or similar) (nice to have)
- Experience with governance of partner pipeline and revenue data in a system of record (CRM governance)
- Familiarity with program or learner data and its connection to revenue timing and outcomes (nice to have)
- Experience with grants or funder reporting (nice to have)
