Job Summary
Lead the University's receivable and revenue-related operations, providing financial analysis, forecasting, and recommendations to support strategic decision-making. Manage modules within the Finance and Enterprise Resource Planning System, including maintenance and testing of changes, while ensuring accurate financial reporting and coordinating the annual audit process. Develop and maintain strong financial controls, policies, and procedures, and partner with departments across campus to improve processes and support operational initiatives. Provide financial guidance and analysis related to ancillary services and other revenue-generating activities. Report to the Executive Director, Financial Services, helping leaders understand financial information and identify opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- undergraduate degree in accounting
- CPA (Certified Professional Accountant) designation
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP and Fund Accounting
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including staff supervision, coaching, and performance management
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls, and accounting principles
- Experience working with ERP systems and complex financial databases
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to explain complex financial information to non-financial audiences
