Manager - Retail Credit - Credit - Housing - EM - Nashik - Metro 99 Commercial Complex- JM

Underwrite mortgage loans and manage the branch credit portfolio. Review and assess a broad range of complex loan applications within defined guidelines and either approve or recommend to higher authorities. Under write proposals per policies to meet SLAs and manage city/area business volumes. Conduct client discussions to establish credit worthiness and ensure completion of credit/KYC documents and verification (telephonic, field, collateral visits). Assess income-to-obligation and loan-to-value ratios, applying knowledge of calculation rationales and their impact on long-term performance. Maintain Portfolio MIS, Delinquency MIS and related MIS; report regularly. Build relationships with third parties to optimize client outcomes; address queries and proactively resolve issues. Ensure quick turnaround of mortgage lending proposals (loan against property, home loans) in collaboration with sales. Review credit proposals for industry, business, financial, management, and facility structure risks; ensure collateral and risk mitigation to support approvals. Ensure adherence to legal and documentation norms and monitor credit exposures to keep them bankable. Facilitate efficient pre-sanction to post-disbursement credit documentation and risk mitigation steps; liaison with local analysts and sales. Lead the branch credit underwriting function and coordinate with credit analysts and sales for prompt proposals. Experience with recovery of mortgage cases within defined timelines.
