Job Summary
Manager Resource Planning responsible for driving production efficiency and cost controls in homebuilding operations. Collaborates with procurement and field personnel to reduce division housing costs, develops procedures to ensure a consistent home release cadence, and drives crew optimization. Manages trade partner scheduling, rescheduling protocols, and communicates upcoming starts and site selections. Builds and maintains schedules to meet production, quality, and cost specifications; directs RP team communications to trade partners; enforces the Change Order Process; builds relationships with municipalities and oversees permits, zoning, and new community setup in the scheduling system. Tracks permit submittals and status updates for division leadership; oversees model home and subdivision startups; supports annual, quarterly, and monthly business planning forecasts; and performs other duties. Requires broad management and leadership knowledge, typically a university degree or equivalent experience, and 6-8 years of relevant experience. Proficient in scheduling software and Microsoft Excel; strong collaboration and negotiation skills; deep understanding of trade practices, internal cost drivers, and homebuilding construction processes.
