Job Summary
Administer the firm's audit, tax, and advisory engagement scheduling process by coordinating staff assignments, balancing workloads, and monitoring schedules daily using Practice Engine. Collaborate with niche leaders and engagement teams to develop capacity forecasts, implement six-month and annual schedules, and resolve resource conflicts. Conduct weekly analyses of billable and non-billable time to provide staffing recommendations and prepare utilization and forecasting reports for partners. Make staffing decisions to align resources with experience, industry expertise, and geography while ensuring maximum efficiency and budget adherence.
Required Qualifications
- 7-10 years of relevant experience as a resource manager in US Tax/ US Audit/ Advisory
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong analytical and data analysis skills
- Ability to multi-task effectively and efficiently
- Strong relationship management and project management skills
- Must have the ability to connect at all levels of the Firm using diplomatic communication, influence, and negotiation skills
- Outgoing personality and ability to present topics and run meetings in front of all levels of the firm, from entry level staff through senior and executive management
- Understands and thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to prioritize work accordingly
- Ability to handle high pressure situations and manage conflicting priorities with confidence
- Demonstrated self-starter who is a solution-oriented problem solver
- Strong technology skills
