Job Summary
Clinical Research Manager at Corewell Health Research Institute leads operational effectiveness of the clinical research staff, ensures regulatory compliance across federal/state/local requirements, partners with CHRI leadership, physicians, and investigators to develop and manage performance metrics for research portfolios, plans and educates managers and teams, supports enrollment and safety monitoring, oversees budget and infrastructure, and drives quality improvement and process optimization in collaboration with SHORA, OSP, data management, and research oversight committees (IRB, Biosafety, Radiation Safety). The role emphasizes ensuring timely service delivery to stakeholders, maintaining research portfolio performance, and providing education and training for research operations staff. Primary location is Grand Rapids, MI, with day shift hours.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Health care, business, science or other related field
- 3 years of relevant Formal or Informal Leadership Experience
- 5 years of relevant Research or Related Experience
- LIC-Registered Nurse (RN) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire preferred
- CRT-Certified Professional (ASCRP-CP) - ACRP Association of Clinical Research Professionals Upon Hire preferred
